Solving Empty Homes understands the elderly owner of this beautiful property in Fulham died a few years ago but seemingly nothing has been done regarding his estate since.
It’s a shame this house sits empty while within a five-mile radius people sleep on the streets and families are put up in temporary housing at taxpayer’s expense all across the capital.
The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government estimates there are over 200k empty properties in London in 2019, which is horrifying when the housing crisis is taken into consideration. It could be argued there isn’t so much a shortage, just an unequal distribution.
